North East Incentives Program
Assistance is available through a range of Australian and Victorian Government funded programs to help landholders and community groups undertake works to protect and enhance waterways, woodlands and wetlands in the North East Catchment Management Authority region of Victoria.
Financial assistance may be provided to help cover the cost of environmental projects. Landholders are generally expected to provide in-kind contributions, such as labour to erect fences or plant trees.
Projects will be considered priorities if they:
- Are cost effective
- Will benefit the wider community as well as the landholder
- Address specific project objectives
- Are located in the North East CMA region, and priority areas defined in regional strategies prepared by the North East CMA
