The North East Natural Resource Management Awards are to encourage and recognise the outstanding commitment to our environment demonstrated by a diverse range of individuals and organisations. These awards are run by the North East CMA to recognise the contributions of volunteers and leaders in our community.

There are a range of support and funding opportunities for landholders and groups through regional projects.

There are many opportunities for people to volunteer, by joining a community group, participating in events or ongoing programs. You can volunteer once, or join a group or monitoring system.

As part of the launch of this website, we are inviting people to contribute to this area by simply answering this question.

The North East Catchment Management Authority is investigating the impacts of climate change on nat-ural resources under a new project—North East NRM strategy for climate change (Strategy). Among other objectives, this project will identify priority areas and activities for mitigating climate im-pacts and assisting adaptation.

This event will run during November as part of the Albury Wodonga Sustainable Living Festival.
