Agriculture Victoria and Murray Dairy are delivering this interactive workshop for Victorian dairy farmers and service providers outlining current biosecurity risks and step participants through what a biosecurity plan is and why you need one.
There are several risk factors that are contributing to an increased threat of a biosecurity incursion in Victoria and Australia.
On-farm biosecurity control measures will help to protect your farm, your region and the industry while minimising production losses and unnecessary costs.
Everyone has a role in minimising biosecurity risks and impacts to the industry.
Topics
- Emergency animal diseases – overview with a focus on foot-and-mouth and lumpy skin disease
- What happens during a response locally?
- Actions and farm biosecurity measures you can put in place now.
