Fishways Project set to be a win-win

23 Dec 2015

The North East Catchment Management Authority (CMA) will work in partnership with DELWP and Parks Victoria to reconstruct two vehicle crossings on the Ovens River at Frosts Crossing and McQuades Bend.

Local firm Gordon Gibson Nominee’s have been successful in winning the contract for the works at two sites as part of the Fishways Project.

Both the Frosts Crossing and McQuades Bend are popular access points to the Warby-Ovens National Park and provide a point of access for campers, recreational fishers and other visitors to the heritage listed lower reaches of the Ovens River.
