Manager Strategy and Partnerships

The North East Catchment Management Authority cover a diverse area including river systems, forests, agricultural land, and urban areas and operate with the vision of diverse, healthy and connected landscapes and communities. The CMA works with Traditional Owners/First Nations Peoples, community, government and funding organisations to support the protection, transformation and adaption of landscapes.

We are currently seeking the right person to join our Business and Partnerships team.

The role leads a small team of professionals, working in partnership with community and other stakeholders in regional strategy development, monitoring and evaluation. They also oversee the Partnerships program, ensuring successful partnerships with agencies and community including Landcare and Traditional Owner Groups.

The successful candidate will:

  • Enjoy collaborating with others to develop regional and organisational strategies
  • Is experienced in managing a high performing team to achieve positive outcomes
  • Is competent in developing partnerships with community groups, First Nations groups, government agencies and not-for profits
  • Thinks strategically and creatively, using initiative to solve complex problems

This is a full time (part-time negotiable) ongoing position and is based in North East Victoria at either Wodonga, Everton or Tallangatta. A total renumeration package from $124,718 p.a. (including superannuation) is offered.
