A happy Indigo Valley resident has won an iPad mini from the North East CMA for providing his views on issues relating to land
management and community support through an online survey.
The iPad mini was handed over to the randomly selected winner, Alan Hewett by Acting CEO of the North East CMA, Matthew
Fagence last week.
Over 300 people completed the survey representing landholders, Landcare and other community natural resource management
(NRM) groups. Detailed and valuable feedback was provided on their issues and needs. The results will be used to plan for landcare
support and sustainable agriculture priorities, as well as provide insight into community perceptions of the CMA.
North East CMA Acting CEO, Matthew Fagence, said he was pleased with the number of responses received from a diverse range of
community members. "Thank you to all the people who contributed to the community survey," said Mr Fagence, "this information
will provide real value to the CMA when developing programs and strategies."
