Rubber Duck Regatta

Come along for a fun family day out hosted by the King River and District Fishing Club. Bbq from 12.30pm.

Pimp a Duck: bring along for display only your bested pimped duck, get creative. Prizes for junior, teen and adult section. Entries need to be in before 1pm. Winner announced at 2pm.

Best dressed: Think outside the box, dress up for your chance to win the prize, waddle like a duck down the line. Most votes wins.

Adopt a Duck: for your chance to win the grand prized valued at $500 Adopt a duck for $5. All ducks are adopted before race day. Ducks drop in 2.30pm. First duck to float across the line wins

Kiewa Catchment Landcare Groups are excited to invite you all to our next installment of the Kiewa Carbon Bash. This is a free and catered event, welcome to all.

Please join agroecologist David Hardwick (Soil Land Food) and microbiologist Dr Chandra Iyer for this hands on workshop where we will explore measuring soil biology on your farm.

We will look at the different soil biology tests and look at the results from the DNA analysis of the demo farms that are part of the Kiewa Carbon Bash Project.

Online look at climate change across Victoria

Two online presentations will address current and possible future climatic conditions that are likely in 2050 across Victoria this week.

Climate experts from the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) will provide overviews from the state-wide Climate Science Report 2019 as well as climate projections for each region including North East Victoria.
