No Shooting Signage

Are you interested in purchasing signage for your property

The Kiewa Catchment Landcare Group is planning to arrange a bulk purchase of No Shooting signs for landholders concerned about unauthorised shooting on their property.

Landholders have raised concerns about unauthorised people shooting/carrying firearms on their properties.

A group member has provided a template for No Shooting signage and if there is enough interest the group can do a bulk print run.

The signs would be made of corflute and measure 420mm x 594mm. The price will depend on the number ordered… the more printed, the cheaper the print run.

The text on the sign is: 'WARNING Carrying firearms on private property without the permission of the owner is a serious offence punishable by fines over $7000 and/or imprisonment for 12 months (Firearms Act 1996 s131). Any person found on this property with a firearm and without the express permission of the owner for the dates in location will be prosecuted. All previous authorities are revoked. By order of the land owner'

The image above is a sample of the signs. If you are interested in obtaining signage, please contact the Kiewa Catchment Landcare Group representative Peter Serpell, phone: 02 6028 9356 or email.
