Corowa District Landcare invite you to a frog-focussed spotlight event!
- Take part in a guided frog survey of the Whitehead Street Wetland by torchlight.
- Learn about the threatened Sloane’s Froglet with frog experts Dave Hunter and Bryce Davies (Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water).
- Find out how to be a “Sloane’s Champion” using the FrogID app to monitor frogs.
About the Sloane's Froglet: Sloane’s Froglet (Crinia sloanei) is a small threatened species that is restricted to only a few locations along the Murray River. One of the largest populations is found in the Corowa region.
What to bring: Please bring a torch or headlamp if you have one. Dress for the weather and wear enclosed shoes.
