North East CMA have released the 2015/16 North East Waterwatch Annual Data Report, which provides the results gathered from regional water quality testing by North East Waterwatch volunteers.
Waterwatch is a citizen science monitoring program and education and partnership initiative that has been coordinated by North East Catchment Management Authority in North East Victoria since 1999.
Waterwatch brings local community and organisations together to monitor the health of our local waterways. The program plays an important role in fostering responsible attitudes and behaviours towards catchment health. This includes working in partnership with local organisations that have a shared interest in and responsibilities for waterway and catchment health.
