Scholarships of $35,000 are available to farmers through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and Nuffield Australia.
Up to 10 specific drought resilience overseas study scholarships are available over the next 2 years, enabling farmers to travel overseas and bring back latest ideas and innovations in drought resilience to develop themselves, their business and their industry to get ready for future droughts.
The funding will also see all Nuffield scholars supported to increase their knowledge of drought resilience tools and practices to better prepare for drying conditions.
Australian farmers and others working in food and fibre production aged between 28 and 45 are encouraged to apply now.
Applications close on 9 June 2023.
