Do you know a beef, sheep, dairy or horticultural producer interested in becoming one of a select number of participants for round 6 and 7 of Agriculture Victoria's On-Farm Emissions Action Plan pilot?
If so, email actionplanpilot@agriculture.vic.gov.au to receive a summary document that describes the requirements of the pilot program and a link to the online Expression of Interest (EOI) form.
Online EOIs must be completed by midnight on 30 August 2023.
There will be another opportunity for beef, sheep, dairy and horticultural producers to be involved with the pilot from mid-2024.
The On-Farm Emissions Action Plan Pilot will support up to 250 farm businesses over three years to estimate their emissions profile and identify actions to manage and reduce emissions on farm.
The Pilot will be delivered over nine rounds covering Victoria’s key agricultural industries and commodities. Rounds 1-5 have closed and rounds 6-9 are yet to open.
A pool of $5 million dollars in grant funding will be available for participants to apply for, to implement an action from their personalised plan to reduce on-farm emissions.
